The Real Estate Management Institute (REMI) has launched an Owner Developer Programme (ODP) to educate developers on the recent industry policies, affordable housing and fund-raising among others. This 32-hour course, starting from November 28 and ending on December 6, will also delve into Real Estate Regulation and Development Act (RERA), Real Estate Investment Trusts (REIT), structuring joint development and joint ventures and quality control among others. "The ODP-II has been designed to enhance the skills of Indian real estate leaders as they scale their organisations amidst an evolving real estate environment. The programme equips current and next-generation leaders with the ability to identify and exploit opportunities, and transform their real estate companies in a competitive landscape,” REMI's business head Shubika Bilkha said. This is the second time the institute is conducting such a programme, which has been named Owner Developer Programme-II (ODP-II). The modules for ODP II will also cover Cashflow Management under RERA, legal due diligence, Smart Developments and Alternative Business Models. The programme will held in Mumbai at Sahara Star, near domestic airport. Mumbai-based REMI also real estate programmes in Ahmedabad through a collaboration with Ganpat University.
