HC stays demolition of Bezonbagh unauthorised houses

The Nagpur bench of the Bombay high court on Wednesday stayed the demolition of 22 unauthorized houses in Bezonbagh Pragatisheel Kamgar Gruh Nirman Sanstha’s layout. The stay has been granted till final orders in a writ petition filed by owners of the unauthorized houses including Ranjana Anand Koche and others. The two-judge bench of Ravi K Deshpande and VG Joshi clubbed three petitions related to Bezonbagh Society — new writ petition (123 of 2019), PIL (1515 of 2018) and contempt petition (168 of 2014).
