Defaulting builders to face Ludhiana civic body's action
The developers who did not come forward for regularization of illegal colonies will now have to bear the brunt, as MC has started recommending FIR against them to the police department. Already, in zones A and B, recommendation was done against 27 and 36 developers respectively, and in other zones too, similar action is being planned by officials. But despite serving notices to developers, nobody came forward for regularization. After a meeting on Thursday, MC commissioner KP Brar gave a free hand to building branch officials to recommend FIRs against the defaulting developers.
