In an exclusive interview with Pratik K. Mehta, Managing Director, Unishire, who won Young Achievers Award of the Year. Mr. Mehta talks with Realty Plus about the USP & team work of his company How do you feel after winning the Realty Plus Award? Exhilarating. It is my first award and am glad that Realty Plus has honoured me with it. Being selected by a renowned panelist of jury adds to the joy. Such recognitions encourages and motivates us to strive for higher. Has it raised the bar of expectation from you for the future? Certainly yes. You set a benchmark for yourself and then it’s all about performing better and ensuring that you surpass several milestones and be honoured for those as well. Do you think the jury process was transparent? I am certain that the jury process was transparent as it had a varied set of renowned individuals’ from various backgrounds and immense experience n the Real Estate domain. These are the names to reckon with. What are your biggest trends? Spectacular and distinctive elevations for every project armed with cutting edge design and architecture that offers global living standards at a great price! We believe in extending luxurious living from a handful of people to everyone. Being young in the industry gives us an edge to offer latest in construction and architecture that addresses to today’s home-buyer’s needs. Conscious and smart construction is what today’s educated, young and well researched home-buyer aspires. Hence, all our projects are smart, home-automation ready and sustainable with proposed Gold certification from Indian Green Building Council (IGBC). How do you drive and motivate your team? We offer everyone a platform to prove himself/herself, think out-of-the-box and ensure every advice/suggestion is heard and incorporated in some capacity. The entire team is a big Unishire family that is built on the firm footing of trust and respect for each other. We believe in nurturing them and helping them evolve into independent problem-solvers who will be tomorrow’s leaders. The biggest motivation is to see the vision of the team, their ideas, translate into actual projects which will be icons of the future. What has been the turning point of your career? The support from the family and entire team over the last 3 years during which we moved into the new office which has bolstered our growth with more than 10x increment and a team of 200+ , growing stronger every single day. What is the USP of your company? International Architecture, Aesthetics and Designs for every individual with world class products and specs, all at a great price. What is the advice you would like to give to upcoming and young developers? Focus on what a consumer wants, exceed his expectations and delight them. After all it’s their smiles that will help us achieve the extraordinary. Remember, as developers we are never in the business of selling homes, we are shaping dreams and helping families make memories to cherish.
