Ltd. talks about Simpolo’s new brand with Realty Plus Tell us about your company and core competencies? ‘Simpolo’ is India’s foremost company in the field of new age Technical Tiles. Pioneered Nano finish on polished vitrified surface, pioneered double charge polished vitrified tiles in formats up to 1200x800 sqm in India, Pioneered High thickness 16mm to 20mm thick tiles for outdoor usage. Launched world’s whitest tile in Double charge variety. And now Powder pressed double charge tiles in Matt as well as Polished finish for high traffic Indoor spaces. What are the latest products offered by your brand? Simpolo has formed a Joint venture with Italian Major M/s Emilceramica group to bring out absolutely latest in the Industry, ‘Sintered compact surface’ in Formats as large as 4800x1600mm. The brand name for this product category will be Nexion. What is the USP of your company? Flat and straight tile even in very large formats, creative and innovative designs with high quality surface finishes. Who are the target audience for your products? Upper Middle class and High class segment of the Market. What are your future plans? As I have mentioned above we have formed a joint venture to bring out brand Nexion. Right now we are focusing on our plant for Nexion brand, and this plant will become operational by April 2016 with an annual capacity of 3.5 Million sqm. What strategies do you follow to handle competition from your organised and unorganised counterparts? With constant innovation and creative designing Simpolo has mastered the art of staying ahead of its competition and by practicing lean methods of manufacturing we are able to keep our costs very much on a competitive course, thus enabling us to fight effectively in the market. What are the demands from tier 2 and 3 cities? The consumption pattern of tier 2 and tier 3 cities are not very different from Tier 1 and metros. Today by and large we can say that we don’t have to design differently for different class of cities, though geographical preferences may require a little bit of tweaking at times. What kind of a workplace environment do you strive to create? Simpolo is another name for creativity and innovation in the Tile Industry in India. Everything that we do is to foster a work environment where creativity thrives.
