On Thursday, Industrial giant Larsen and Toubro said its construction sector has bagged orders worth Rs 2,440 crorein the domestic market for power transmission and distribution works.
The contracts includereplacement of conductors with aerial bunched cables under the Saubhagya scheme, electrification works in urban and rural areas and augmentation of 33/11kV substations.
Also they have grabbed order from the Department of Disaster Management for the construction of underground power cable network on turnkey basis in the eastern region of India
Shares of L&T were trading 0.33 percent higher at Rs 1,369.30 on BSE.
The company’s business mix spans a large spectrum like complex engineering, procurement, and construction contracts in the hydrocarbon, process, metals and cement sectors, development of infrastructure projects and many more.
