The Real Estate Management Institute (REMI) has launched a slew of women-focused educational programmes, under its initiative ‘REMIRisers’ in order to improve participation of women in a sector that is perceived as male-dominated.
The institute is conducting five specially-curated entrepreneurial and skilling courses, starting in May, through which it intends to empower women.The courses are: ‘Broker Entrepreneurship for Women’, ‘Vaastu Consulting for Women’, ‘Effective Designing of Homes’, ‘Women Home Buyers’ and ‘Facilities Management/Asset Management for Women’.
The courses will focus on broker entrepreneurship, technical and business skills (required in RERA era) among others. The courses, which admit about 50-70 women, will be conducted by internal faculties and visiting experts, while the medium of education would be English and Hindi.
