The process of buying and renting property in Karnataka has got a lot simpler. Citizens will no longer find it necessary to visit a subregistrar's office to register properties, get certified hard copies or to know how to calculate property prices.
On Monday, chief minister HD Kumaraswamy will launch Kaveri Online Services http:kaverionline.karnataka.gov.in), a one-stop portal for all property and marriage registration-related services. The refurbished portal of stamps and registration department allows online registration of properties and enables free downloading of property registration documents, including certified sale deeds and encumbrance certificates.
“Nine different services will be available on our new portal,” said a release from state revenue department.
