Although chief ministers spoke on region specific issues, they tended to maintain unity on timely and phased removal of the nationwide lockdown. States also raised concerns about the crisis for thousands of migrants, stranded because of the lockdown since March-end.
Indicating broad-based relaxing of lockdown after May 17, Modi said" I am of the firm view that the measures needed in the first phase of lockdown were not needed during the 2nd phase and similarly the measures needed in the 3rd Phase are not needed the fourth."
