Over 68,000 apply for 1,100 Cidco low-cost flats in Navi Mumbai

Cidco received over 68,016 applications for 1,100 flats that are up for grabs for the low-income group in the open category under the Prime Minister AwasYojana till Thursday, the last day of receiving applications. Of the 68,016 applicants, 51,622 have made payments. The online draw for the flats will take place on February 14 at 11am. “Cidco had launched a website, lottery.cidcoindia.com to simplify the process for applicants, hence there has been a huge response,” said PriyaRatambe, Cidco PRO. The low-cost flats are located in five nodes of Navi Mumbai—sectors 21, 22 and 27 in Taloja, sector 40 in Kharghar, sector 15 in Kalamboli, sector 10 in Ghansoli, and sectors 11 and 12 at Dronagiri.
