North Delhi civic body to take advance order for flats

North Delhi civic body has decided to raise the necessary funds for its highrise projects in Model Town and Azadpur by offering pre-booking of flats to the general public. The civic body would raise initial input costs for the project through advanced booking of around 20% of the flats. “We have issued work orders for the redevelopment of decades-old government quarters located in Model Town and Azadpur. Twenty-two story towers would be set up in place of the existing 1100 flats and the work would be carried out on the lines of NBCC’s redevelopment projects in south Delhi’s Netaji Nagar and Nauroji Nagar,” said Veena Virmani, standing committee chairman.
