Noida authority issues notice to Shubhkamna Buildtech for not clearing dues of Rs 78 crore

The Noida Authority has issued a recovery notice against Shubhkamna BuildtechPvt Ltd of Rs 78.23 crore over non-payment of dues at their project in Sector 137. This is the first major recovery notice issued by the Authority through the district magistrate this year. “The notice is issued for pending payments at plot no. GH-5B in Sector 137 allotted to builder Shubhkamna Buildtech Pvt Ltd for building the housing society. We had issued letter No. 786 on February 26, 2018 for recovery of Rs 67.13 crore due on the builder, but recieved no response from them. Hence, the said amount with interest now accrues to a total of Rs 78.23 crore for which we have issued a recovery notice to the district collector to take action,” Santosh Kumar, OSD, Noida Authority group housing department, told TOI. The notice has been issued under Section 40 of UP Urban and Planning Act 1973 and Section 12 of UP Industrial Act 197 to the builder, Piyush Tiwari.
