NCDRC directs Mumbai's Runwal Homes to hand over flat to buyer

The bench of justice A P Bhangale and A K Zade, while dismissing Runwal Homes Private Limited, directed Runwal Homes to hand over possession of the said flat as per agreement to sale registered and executed between the parties consisting of balcony and utility area as additional necessary special amenities as per schedule to agreement without asking for additional amount of Rs 10.50 lakh.
RajanPalleri, a home buyer, had complained to the state consumer court that the builder has failed to hand over possession of the flat on time and was demanding excess amount of Rs 10.50 lakh.
Despite making payment of full consideration, the builder demanded Rs 10.50 lakhadditional development charge. Rajan's lawyer said as per agreement Rajan was to pay Rs 21,000.
