The proper training and skill development programs provided to the construction workers would definitely enhance the output and also help the workers to grow their earnings. Being a women and part of NAREDCO, I am proud with the decision of training women beneficiaries which is praiseworthy”.Mr. Parth Mehta, Managing Director, Paradigm Realty, said“Dearth in skilled labour is a grave issue for developers. Concern has increased as timely delivery of projects is the most important factor for buyers which impact their buying decision after affordability. The initiative of The National Real Estate Development Council (Naredco) to sign a MoU with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs for providing the skill training to urban poor is a win-win situation for the workers and developers both. Urban poor will get the employment opportunity and developers will get the quality & timely delivery of work. Alongside up-skilling training will open newer avenues for the construction labours& it will not even hamper the construction work of developers as it will be provided on site. Encouraging training for the women beneficiaries is another great step towards women empowerment.”
