NAREDCO announces real estate infrastructure and investors’ summit

NAREDCO, the national real estate body announces its Fourth Edition of Real Estate & Infrastructure Investors’ Summit (REIIS) 2018 in Mumbai. The two-day summit is organized in association with APREA (Asia Pacific Real Estate Association). This year’s focus of the summit is to showcase various opportunities in Indian real estate & Infrastructure sector, on-going policies, emerging land of opportunities with the new ecosystem for the domestic & foreign investors alongside other developments in the real estate sector. India an emerging market has seen prodigious growth in terms of Foreign Direct Investment in the Real Estate and Infrastructure sector. Indian real estate sector is facing roadblocks like banking & investments, affordable housing growth, etc. Today only 3-4% of the Indian Real Estate Developers seek Private Equity Funds which is expected to grow tremendously in the coming years because of positive sentiments created by the Government of India for investments in the sector. Considering this trend and the growth of PE in India this Summit has been organized. The primary focus of the summit shall be on Private Equity, Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT's), Infrastructure Investment Trust (InvITs) and various mechanisms of investments in Real Estate Sector in India. The summit will also deliberate on various issues, challenges and way forward through various reforms to attract more funds to real estate and infrastructure sector from across the globe. World’s top policy makers, Mr. Rajnish Kumar, Chairman, SBI, Mr. Vikram Limaye, MD & CEO, National Stock Exchange of India will be the Guest of Honour for the event. Mr. Devendra Fadnavis, Hon’ble Chief Minister for Maharashtra, Shri. Durga Shanker Mishra, Hon’ble Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs along with the top officials too are expected at the event. The event will witness participation from various International Institutions like The SBI, Nisus Finance Services Co. Ltd., DLF, Brookfield and Lodha. NAREDCO has also approached global institutions like KPMG, PwC, JLL, CBRE, Prop Equity, IVCA &Infrabuddy have been approached to join hands with "REIIS" 2018" to put this summit on a truly international platform. As a curtain raiser for REIIS, NAREDCO had also organized meet & greet session for the 15th National Convention to deliberate on the strategies for exploiting the potential of real estate to achieve higher economic growth and prosperity. The convention provided a common platform to all the stakeholders to deliberate the challenges and evolve strategies to overcome the same.
