Nagpur-based builder nabbed after two years

The crime branch sleuths on Saturday arrested builder Hemant Jham, who was absconding in fraud cases since the last two years, from his house at Sonegaon. Jham, one of the accused in Navodaya Bank fraud, has around 250 pending summons warrants against him from the district consumer court. The cops were looking for him since long. Media had reported several times about the judgments delivered by the consumer forum that the builder has duped gullible customers on the pretext of selling flats and houses. Jham was also an accused in a case registered at Sonegaon police station in 2015 for allegedly duping investors in Kanhaiya City township.
