Madhya Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) should have a permanent presence in Indore besides establishing coordination with local bodies to aid early resolutions for stuck projects, said realtors and industry experts.
Builders and legal experts said a permanent body should operate from Indore instead of two or three members’ team holding hearings thrice in a month in Indore.
Stakeholders also urged that RERA should not confine its power to just penalizing builders, but, should work as a facilitator in funding from banks for stuck projects and expediting approvals from local bodies.
