Lucknow Development Authority’s VasantkunjYojna is to be restarted as the state government has given approval to restart the same to benefit more than 1500 allottees who had been waiting long for possession in the VasantkunjYojna.
The matter had been stuck for long because of disagreement with farmers on the compensation given against their acquired lands. However, LDA claims that the issue have been resolved and the construction would begin soon.
More than 2000 new plots and green spaces will be created in the scheme and over 1500 allottees who were waiting would benefit through the same. Besides, more than 5000 affordable houses would be constructed under the Pradhan MantriAwasYojna in the scheme.
Lucknow Development Authority’s is planning big time to reclaim its old leased lands across the state capital Lucknow which would accelerate new projects, including housing and commercial, also bringing back revenue to them. It has decided that all those Nazul lands whose lease has expired now will not be renewed but used for beginning new housing projects. Re-development of these lands are planned and later it would be auctioned to private developers for better construction. LDA had recently spoken to many big companies which are interested in beginning real estate projects in Lucknow.
