MahaMetro selects five rehabilitation spots in Pune for affected residents

The Maharashtra Metrorail Corporation (MahaMetro) has finalized five locations for rehabilitation of residents and commercial establishments to be affected by the proposed Metro stations in BudhwarPeth(PhadkeHaud) and PhuleMandai.
At least 300 residents and 60 commercial establishments will have to be shifted for the mass rapid transport system and MahaMetro has prepared a complete rehabilitation plan.
Addressing a news conference here on Thursday, MahaMetro executive director AtulGadgil said 382 houses and more than 100 shops would be constructed at Bhai Kotwalmandai, DadojiKonddev school, Kadambari building, Pune District Central Cooperative Bank and Zanshichi Rani Kanyashala.
