Ludhiana Improvement Trust receives over 800 applications

The recently conducted demand survey for checking the viability of the much-hyped project of Atal Apartments, the Ludhiana Improvement Trust (LIT) has received overwhelming response from general public. The officials have received over 800 applications for just 300 flats in the survey and now they have started the process to get technical approvals so that scheme could be launched and public could be allotted the flats through draws. The officials claimed they will send the fresh designs for the approval from the government to allow them for constructing flats at affordable rates. A total of 825 applications have been received by the officials. In the planning, 600 flats are to be constructed at the site, but 50 percent flats will be auctioned. Therefore officials have demanded applications in demand survey for 300 flats only.
