Five BBMP officials are facing a departmental inquiry for allegedly issuing khata documents for 60 flats in Uttarahalli ward, Bommanahalli, without obtaining specific documents.
While a repatriation order was issued to send Yelahanka zone joint commissioner VN Veerabhadraswami back to his parent department of commerce and industries, suspension orders were slapped on revenue inspector BN Shashidhar, Uttarahalli sub-division in-charge assistant revenue officer Padmavathi and revenue officer Muniyappa.
However, the orders against all four officials have been stayed after they moved court. BBMP commissioner N Manjunatha Prasad, however, has not given any posts to Shashidhar, Padmavathi and Muniyappa, as the model code of conduct has been imposed.
The fifth official, Gangadhar, deputy commissioner of Bommanahalli zone, was also repatriated to his parent department.
