Flexible office operator IndiQube plans to more than double its office portfolio over the next two years to 4 million sq ft across major cities in the country apart from entering newer locations such as Mumbai, Pune and Chennai.
In a recent lease transaction, the firm has signed a 35,000-sq ft office space in Leela Business Park in Mumbai, marking its entry into the city.
“We have already signed 1 million sq ft of office space across existing and newer geographies that will get operational over the next 12 months,” said Rishi Das, chairman, Indiqube .
The funds from this round will be used to strengthen its execution capabilities and fund its aggressive expansion plans. “Since we are Ebidta-positive, debt will also form part of our expansion rollout,” said Das.
Some of the companies that operate out of its offices include Red Bus, Bluestone, Micromax, Scripbox and FreshMenu.
The growing demand from large enterprises has made global and domestic flexible office operators such as Wework, Cowrks and Awfis to aggressively add new locations to their portfolios.
