Hopes of dream homes in Noida get demolished

Open shafts starkly similar to a dark abyss, dangling electric wires, waterlogged basements, seepage and non-functional elevators - that's what some homebuyers in Noida and Greater Noida have received from their builders, who have brazenly neglected safety, hygiene and customer satisfaction. After Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed Noida authority to ensure that 40,000 flats are handed over to buyers in every three months, these builders are giving possession without getting completion certificate from the authorities. Nearly, one lakh homebuyers in Noida and Greater Noida are awaiting possession of their flats. Some buyers who recently shifted to their 'new' flats after much delay were shocked to find the abysmal condition of their apartments despite paying maintenance charge.
