HDFC disbursed total subsidy worth Rs 302 crore under PMAY-CLSS

Under the CLSS-EWS/LIG scheme, housing finance company HDFC has so far disbursed loans worth Rs 1,728 crore to 10,764 customers with a subsidy worth Rs 228 crore, while under the CLSS-MIG schemes, it has provided loans worth Rs 1,067 crore to 3,526 customers with a subsidy worth Rs 74 crore, the company said. This information was shared at a function held in the Capital on Tuesday during which HDFC Ltd released a report on Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme. The report documents the efforts undertaken by the housing finance company to promote and propagate CLSS. Minister of State for finance Shiv Pratap Shukla was the chief guest at the event. Sriram Kalyanaraman, managing director and chief executive officer, National Housing Bank; Deepak Parekh, chairman, HDFC and Renu Sud Karnad, MD, HDFC were present at the event.
