Haryana to increase FAR in HSIIDC industrial areas

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Thursday announced that the Floor Area Ratio (FAR) in HSIIDC industrial areas would be increased from 150 to 200 per cent with appropriate charges.

FAR is the ratio of a building's total floor area (gross floor area) to the size of the piece of land upon which it is built.

Apart from this, the state government has identified 50 acres of land for a pharma park in Karnal which would be developed by the Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC), he said.
