Forensic audit of ABW Infrastructure ordered passed by Delhi HC

The Delhi high court on Wednesday appointed a forensic auditor for ABW Infrastructure. The forensic auditor has been asked to submit its report within two months. The court expressed dissatisfaction with the action taken by the official liquidator (OL) in filing details of company's assets, properties and bank accounts. The OL however informed the court that the directors of ABW Infrastructure have not come forward to give their statements. The order relates to a case filed by NityaKukreja (a home buyer) against ABW Infrastructure for non-payment of an assured return as per the builder-buyer agreement. Kukreja had bought a flat in company's Faridabad project in 2011 which was to be completed in 2014. The builder also promised an assured monthly return to her which was not honoured.
