DTCP to cancel OCs of 20 buildings for flouting norms

Occupation certificates (OC) of 20 residential buildings are likely to be cancelled by the department of town and country planning (DTCP) for flouting building norms. The DTCP recently conducted a survey in the licensed colonies along Golf Course Road (from MG road till Ghata) and found commercial activities being carried from at least 20 residential buildings. The survey report claims that commercial activities were being carried out from 80 per cent of the residential buildings in the area.
