Chandigarh Municipal Corporation to hike commercial property tax

The Municipal Corporation of Chandigarh has approved a 10 % increase in the commercial property tax system on August 30, 2017. The decision was taken in 248^thmeeting of the general house of the municipal corporation of Chandigarh. Punjab governor and UT administrator VP Singh Badnore has approved the said 10 % increase in the commercial property tax rate system for the new financial year, starting from April 1, 2018, and the local body government will issue the notification soon.
