Moreover, mentioning the total number of floors of a building, along with the height, will be mandatory for all categories during property registration.
These are some of the guidelines notified by the district administration on Thursday for registration of land under the jurisdiction of the three industrial development authorities, in order to end unauthorised constructions in Gautam Budh Nagar.
The three authorities of Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna Expressway had been petitioning the administration to regulate illegal plotting schemes and unauthorised construction activity in their areas for several years.
Besides insisting on providing permission or a no-objection letter from the authorities for residential as well as commercial properties, checks and balances have been put in place even for agricultural land. The buyer will have to get a no-objection letter from the authority concerned to establish no construction has taken place on the agricultural land to get the land registered.
All this while for land transactions, the stamps and registration department was carrying out registry on the basis of PAN card, ID card, property card, payment proof of stamp duty and sale deed.
