Ansal Housing has defaulted on payment of interest and repayment of principal amount on loans from Indiabulls Commercial Credit in February 2020, the company disclosed on Wednesday in a BSE filing.
The company defaulted on secured term loan having Rs 149.85 crore principal amount and Rs 21.03 crore interest with 10.95% interest. The date of default was February 23, 2020. The entire loan was recalled by Indiabulls Commercial Credit, the company said in the regulatory filing.
"No default was occured on March 23, 2020 as the company has opted for the relaxation granted by RBI with regard to the payment of EMIs during the COVID-19 pandemic, hence the amount of the default disclosed is exactly the same as was reported by the company in the disclosure dated March 24, 2020," the company said.
