Anil Ambani is investing Rs 80 crore ($12 million) in Square Yards, an online-to-offline (O2O) real estate transaction player.
Founded in 2013, Square Yards is a technology-enabled transaction and aggregation platform for global real estate. The company says it is the largest distributor for primary residential real estate in India, and has a leadership position in the NRI markets.
“With this collaboration, we will be able to draw on Reliance’s extensive experience, particularly in scaling up the business to a higher growth trajectory and creating significant shareholder value in the process,” said Square Yards co-founder Tanuj Shori.
