Alliance Group of builders has been accused of illegally occupying, carrying out demolition and taking possession of belongings kept in a plot owned by Pramod Gangwar in Bannuwal Colony, 100-foot-road. The builder has denied the allegations, claiming that his firm has “nothing to do with the incident”.
According to Pramod Gangwar, a Bareilly resident posted as additional district judge (ADJ) in Bijnor, his parents had gone to clean their plot in Bannuwal Colony ahead of Diwali and found that some people had forcefully occupied it by breaking the boundary wall and gate with the help of a JCB. On opposing them, the “intruders” allegedly got involved in a scuffle and threatened the elderly couple with dire consequences before leaving.
When media contacted Ramandeep Singh, director of Alliance Group, he denied the allegations of dacoity and illegal possession of property. He said, “Me or Alliance Builders has nothing to do with such incident. It seems FIR is lodged due to some misunderstanding or deliberately with ulterior motives. We have also spoken to the higher officials in this connection who have assured us fair investigation in the matter.”
Singh also said, “It seems this is simply an act of taking undue advantage of position and to defame us.”
