Ahead of polls, Hyderabad realty market shines ‘bright’ 

Breaking away from the usual slowdown that hits a real estate market ahead of an election season, the local industry in Hyderabad is fast surging ahead. Months before the polls, the city has even won itself the honour of being the “brightest spot” in the residential sector, as per a freshly compiled report. “In most cases business tapers down before polls as people are apprehensive about the effects of a new regime. This happened even in Hyderabad, not just in 2014 when there was tremendous uncertainty, but in the previous election years as well. This time though, the industry is almost certain of the outcome and, therefore, it’s business as usual,” said Ashwin Rao, Manbhum Constructions, adding, “That there have been no major policy changes, has only added to this steadiness.”
