The Indian Real Estate market has posted a 40% on-year rise in fund inflows since the beginning of 2017. According to a Knight Frank India study, between January and June end, institutional investors, including private equity, pension funds, sovereign funds, domestic investors and non-banking finance companies have invested $3.15 billion in India’s real estate sector as against $2.25 billion in the same period last year.
A separate study by JLL India showed that India has witnessed private equity inflow of Rs. 16,008 crore until June this year compared with Rs. 15,601 crore a year ago.
