The 5th edition of Fire and Security Association of India’s (FSAI) Project heads, Architects & Consultants Conclave (PACC) 2017 kicked off today in Bangkok, Thailand. PACC brings together Project heads, Architects & Consultants to discuss industry trends. It is an initiative by FSAI, in association with, Schneider Electric to bring-forth IoT enabled solutions for ‘Safe and Sustainable Buildings’.
The event was attended by over 500 people that included top bureaucrats, renowned architects & consultants, finest technocrats and accomplished fire safety and security professionals across India and other countries. The gathering focused on exchanging information about standards, codes and best practices and emerging technologies for creating Smart and Sustainable Buildings. It addressed the growing need for leveraging digitization and Internet of Things (IoT) in the segment. Schneider Electric India was one of the participants in the event.
Fire and Security Association of India (FSAI) is a non-profit organization representing the Fire Protection, Life Safety, Security, Building Automation, Loss Prevention and Risk Management domains. It aims to work closely with the Government and all other stakeholders to enable the Indian fire and security industry to reach global pre-eminence with better regulatory framework. FSAI has over 2,500+ members including leading 400+ global and Indian corporates and large number of top-notch Indian and 1,000+ global professionals including leading architects, consultants, and end-users.
Speaking at the occasion, Mr. Pankaj Dharkar, National President, FSAI said, “In today’s world, digitisation is playing the most important role in achieving efficiency in every industry.
