Realtors' body National Real Estate Development Council (NAREDCO) will hold two day convention on August 28-29 in Delhi to evolve new business strategies following the implementation of the new real estate law and GST. The convention will also discuss ways to overcome the multi-year slowdown in the residential segment that has resulted in huge delays in execution of projects.
The 14th National Convention of NAREDCO is expected to witness participation of bureaucrats, policy makers, experts, leaders, real estate developers and private equity players. NAREDCO. The theme of this year's convention is ‘Indian Real Estate Unfolding the new era of growth.’
On Thursday, the real estate body had held a press meet in Mumbai. NAREDCO west president Niranjan Hiranandani said that the regulations like GST and RERA will add value to the overall investment potential of the Indian real estate sector.
Hiranandani was optimistic about the government plans and investment in the infrastructure sector. He emphasized on the Affordable Housing for All scheme and showed confidence about achieving the target of affordable homes. He also said that there is need to incentivize the rental houses.
He discussed about the problems under the RERA act and government’s efforts to resolve the issues.
