Union minister and BJP MP from Gautam Buddha Nagar, Mahesh Sharma visited the agitating homebuyers of the Amrapali Group projects on Sunday and assured them of a speedy solution.
The homebuyers are protesting since two weeks against Amrapali Group outside the developer’s office in Sector 62. Over 500 homebuyers have been on a continuous dharna in front of the office by rotation for speedy delivery of their homes after news of Amrapali facing financial difficulties. Buyers from all projects have been participating in the protest. The protesters have stated that they will not leave the spot unless the government resolves the issue.
MP Mahesh Sharma visited there and listened to the complaints of the homebuyers. He assured buyers that he will intervene and seek answers from Noida and Greater Noida Authorities.
Meanwhile, Amrapali has been assuring buyers that their panic is pointless and financial solutions are being looked at for the completion of their projects. The builder, which is facing an insolvency bid, has over 40,000 apartments that are due for completion. It is also one of the top debtors to the Noida authorities.
