The Association conducts and participates in several activities throughout the year at IIT Delhi.

Bakshi’s achievements set him apart from fellow alumni. He is a deserving recipient of this award and has amply showcased his achievements as an alumnus of IIT Delhi, which we all feel very proud of."Bakshi received his Bachelor of Technology degree in Civil Engineering from IIT Delhi in 1961. He is also a member of RICS, CREDAI & NAREDCO, and has over five decades of experience in civil, mechanical and metallurgical engineering. He leads a talented pool of over 20,000 employees across eight countries around the world. Alongside Central Park, he spearheads multiple verticals across sectors including infrastructure, automotive components, hospitality and most recently, education.
Speaking on this recognition, Amarjit Bakshi, CMD, Central Park stated, “I am extremely honoured to receive this award from IIT Delhi Alumni Association.”Besides his passion to create meaningful opportunities in complex business environments, Bakshi’s desire to continuously give back to the society has led him to contribute through various social initiatives such as promoting environmental sustainability at Central Park (for which they won an award in August 2018) and providing schooling and free-of-cost food for over 1500 underprivileged children as Founder-Trustee of the Jagrati Sewa Trust, amongst other such activities.
