C.M.Dhananjaya Chairman, Karnataka State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (KSIIDC)

Dhananjaya graduated from Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning and a law graduate from Bangalore University He was a Student Leader and Organizing Secretary of NSUI and was the State General Secretary of Youth Congress, Karnataka. By profession he is an Advocate & Consultant and a member of the Karnataka State Bar Council since 1989. Being a legal consultant he has been taking up cases of his clients who are individuals and leading Multinational establishments. He has made a name handling both Civil and Criminal cases. As a Chairman of KSIIDC, he is taking initiative for spearheading implementation of Industrial & Infrastructure projects including projects on Public Private Partnership [PPP] basis. Some of the key projects undertaken by KSIIDC are Kempegowda International airport, natural Gas pipeline project, City Gas distribution,Development of Seaport at Tadadi/tadri, International Convention centre, Development of 408 acres of Devanahalli Business park, NIMZ at Vasanthanarasapura Tumkur, Industrial Corridor project, and Development of Airstrips in Karnataka. Dhananjaya is a person of substance and of value for his political organisation, Indian National Congress (INC). He has been attracted to the philosophy and ideology of INC since his student days. This helped him to grow to be a student and youth leader. He has formerly been Vice Chairman of KPCC Legal Cell, President: Bangalore District Congress Committee Legal Cell, Vice President: Young Advocates Forum and Member, Central Board of Film Certification and Karnataka State Town Planning Board. Dhananjaya dedicated work for the progress of Congress party did bring him cheers. In recognition of his abilities and contributions to Congress party, he has been made the Chairman of the Legal and the Human Rights Department for the Karnataka Unit of Indian National Congress, Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC). C.M. Dhananjaya has been a representative force and a personality of strong character professionally as an advocate & consultant, besides being a man with political aspirations.
