MahaNakhon tallest building in Thailand opens

The 77-story MahaNakhon tower, the new tallest building in Thailand, has opened to the public in Bangkok. Designed by Büro Ole Scheeren, the 1,030-foot-tall, mixed-use tower has a distinctive facade with a spiraling pixelated pattern. The building comprises hospitality and retail spaces, along with bars, restaurants and 200 condo units managed by Ritz-Carlton Residences. Albeit not entirely green, the project does have a few redeeming features environmentalists will appreciate.
