Real estate opportunities in France’s second largest city, Marseille, will be highlighted at Expo 2020 Dubai, UAE by Euromediterranee, a public urban and economic development agency (also known as EPAEM). The EPAEM, which is currently handling development works in the sustainable Mediterranean city of tomorrow, will host an event dedicated to opportunities for Middle Eastern Investors on the France Pavilion at Expo, on Thursday, November4 during the Sustainable City week.
Built over an area of 480 hectares, right in the center of Marseille, the development project to be introduced during Expo 2020 Dubai, UAE brings together public services, retail, offices, housing, transport and parking infrastructures, public parks and much more to create a new way of living. Marseille, 5th largest digital hub in the world, connecting 4.5 billion internet users across continents. Home to the first French port and the third largest oil port worldwide, the city of Marseille hosts a four million square meters of diverse developments under way, conducted by Euromediterranee.
In line with the UAE’s vision to develop several smart sustainable cities to improve the quality of life, EPAEM is keen on introducing its vision of a sustainable city during Expo 2020 Dubai, UAE, thanks to its urban renewal and economic development project which is the largest in southern Europe. The national level entity supported by the French government, also looks forward to share its urban development expertise with private and public players in the United Arab Emirates on how to build the sustainable cities of the future.
