In recent times, Hyderabad has been making waves for lot many reasons be it political, creating jobs, real estate, infrastructure and many more. These turn of events have been slowly but surely laid the foundation for Hyderabad to be the next Mega city by 2030.
If we look at satellite towns being developed in the region, the outer ring road (ORR) of Greater Hyderabad, the government is committed to develop around 13 urban centres this will help to generate need for jobs, boost micro economy, real estate with bolstered connectivity.
These 13 urban nodes will be developed as self-contained zones and identified for certain economic areas- Shamshabad (medical hub), Keesara (knowledge hub), Ghatkesar (IT software city), Gundlapo-cchampally ( Bio-Pharma city), Bongluru (IT Hardware, electronics), Shamirpet (recreation), Kokapet (Finance city), Pedda Amberpet (media/market centre), Patancheru (innovation), Adibatla, Tukkuguda (aero sense, hardware) and Medchal, Tellapur-Nagulapally (Inland continental depot).
Under a private-public partnership, HUDA (Hyderabad Urban Development authority) to develop India’s largest integrated township named Tellapur Techno City on a 400 acre site located in Tellapur, Hyderabad. The project will be aimed to provide 30,000 homes along with the office space which will generate 35,000 of employement.
The metro project worth’s Rs.16,375cr. will place the city on most desired urban cities list in the coming years. The city has already seen traction when it comes to the real estate and infra sector where lot many new project have come up in and around the city to boost its interconnectivity with other major cities of the region and its connectivity to its satellite towns.
The recent activity by the government has made MNC’s to take notice of this and many of them already have scouted for its office space or are looking for an office space. Companies like Apple, Google, Amazon, IBM, JP Morgan are either looking or have booked an office space in the city. This will give a boost to employment and other economic opportunities within the region.
With better companies making their base in Hyderabad this will attract lots of migrant workforce of different skills to the city adding up to the population and giving a boost to the real estate in different forms.
The city has also upgraded its internal connectivity options by introducing the metro project and having an internal ring road which is by far the best connectivity option for the citizens traveling from one part of the city to another for various reasons.
With the growing city it will bring lot many opportunities for people with in the region which will also see migration of people from nearby places to earn their livelihood hence boosting Hyderabad status as the economic capital of the region.
There are few areas within the city which are doing very well on the real estate front like Gachibowli, Madhapur, Miyapur, Manikonda to name a few.
Hyderabad as a city has just realized its potential on the National level and infra and real estate boom will be the beginning of a Mega City in making. The whole new world will be descending on the city and with every day the city is evolving to meet the demand of a mega city by 2030.
