Students attend free Construction Guidance Workshop

Rustomjee Academy for Global Careers (RAGC) hosted a special workshop which offered free guidance to students considering a career in the construction field.  The workshop was conducted at Rustomjee Paramount at Khar and gave students detailed information and real time feel of the different aspects of construction and what a career in this field would entail. This workshop is a continuance of RAGC’s endeavors to encourage and guide students, especially those from less privileged homes, about the different vocations and employment opportunities open to them. Students are trained at RAGC in sectors such as Construction, Electrical, Hospitality, Automobile and Business. Besides, RAGC, through its association with some of the major players in the different fields even offers students placement upon completion of the courses. Mr. Percy S. Chowdhry, Director, Rustomjee Group, referring to the workshop said, “With the country well and truly entrenched on the path of development and the construction sector at the forefront of it all, this is a very exciting sector to be a part of. The workshop was organized to give students an overall, hand’s on view of what their career options would be and what a career in construction would entail.  It is important that education equip students to hone their skills and prepare for a vocation. RAGC was established with that vision in mind and has admirably fulfilled it over the years.” Mr. Kevin John – General Manager, Rustomjee Academy for Global Careers (RAGC) says, “Education is the best tool to drive India towards progress.
