The on Monday shortlisted the technical bids of 6 companies to prepare the for the sanctioned international airport at Jewar. One company will be selected from the lot after the financial bids are finalised on December 29. According to YEIDA officials, the companies that participated in the bid for the airport included Engineers India Ltd, KPMG Advisory Services Private limited, Jones Lang LaSalle Property Consultancy, Price House Coopers, Touche Tohmatsu India Ltd and CBRE South Asia Private Limited. “Eleven leading global companies had come forward to prepare the TEFR for the international airport at Jewar, for which the tender had been floated by YEIDA on November 11, 2017,” said Shailendra Bhatia, Officer on Special Duty (OSD), YEIDA. “We will now examine and evaluate the six companies, which have been shortlisted for their technical soundness. Another presentation will be given by these 6 companies on December 27. Thereafter, we will open the financial bids on December 29 after which the company to prepare the TEFR will be selected,” he explained. Along with Bhatia, BV Subbarayudu, general manager, engineering, Airports Authority of India participated in the bid committee meeting. “Company with maximum points for technical and financial qualifications will be appointed in a transparent manner,” Bhatia said.
