SC orders Amrapali to submit details of Rs 2,766 crore shown as “expense”
The Supreme Court on Thursday ordered Amrapali Group to file an affidavit having details of Rs 2,766 crore it had shown as “expense”. The affidavit is to be filed by May 15. The order came after home buyers represented by their counsel Ashwarya Sinha questioned the figure of Rs 2,766 crore that has been shown under the “expenses” by Amrapali in an affidavit submitted to the apex court n accordance of a previous SC order. The court has asked the nature of the transactions along with details of the origin and transfer, provision of law under which the money has been disbursed, whether the amount was transacted before or after RERA and dates of the transactions
