Realtors eye outskirts as Kochi lacks land
The real estate sector which complaints about the non-availability of large pieces of land in the city and suburbs wants the state government to come up with measures to facilitate realty development in the outskirts. Realtors are looking for new ways to overcome the lack of land for introducing mega projects. Builders say that while they have already started to explore areas like Kalamasserry and Tripunithura and regions beyond it, they would like to focus on areas like Kumbalam, Nettoor, Aroor and the islands in Kochi's neighbourhoods.
