Protest outside Man Group’s office in Mumbai
A huge number of people protested outside Man Group’s office at Ville Parle in Mumbai yesterday holding posters and chanting slogans against the company as the company’s real estate subsidiary, Man Global, defaulted on possession of residential apartments, promised to them in 2014. Man Global initiated a residential project named ‘Man Opus’ in the year 2010 at Mira Road, Mumbai and the buyers were promised a possession by the year 2014. But, the company failed to give the possession yet. The promoters of Man Group include Nikhil Mansukhani and Ramesh Mansukhani. ''Empty promises are what they make every time we call. I have already paid Rs. 10 lacs. First it was 6 towers, when they made it 14 we did not get any information about the change in flat allocation. Fortunately I went to check and they said that your flat has changed from the one you booked. I had to choose from the leftovers. It is sad that every-time the common man has to suffer,'' complained a buyer against the project.
