According to a recent study by Housing.com, premium apartments in Gurugram will witness significant homebuyer interest in 2021, with 1.6 time’s higher searches for properties worth INR 2 crore and above. According to some statistics, Gurugram is home to more than half of the new commercial supply in the Delhi NCR, as well as around 30 Per cent of the inexpensive and mid-segment housing. The research also shows that apartments with larger configurations will experience growth, with home searches for properties with 3 and 3+ bedrooms growing by 59 per cent year-over-year.n“COVID-19 has instilled an urgency to live in places that can take care of every necessity of life; larger spaces and access to health infrastructure have come out as the deciding factors while choosing a residential property. Furthermore, when they evaluate their current demands and those that will arise in the coming years, nuclear families are opting for more spacious homes. The challenge would be to bridge the demand-supply imbalance while maintaining quality. When it comes to the country's general position, the biggest issue in real estate is keeping up with the increased demand that has arisen as a result of the pandemic's effects. Only high-quality developments will be able to resist this growing rush of knowledgeable buyers/investors. Plots will become a popular residential asset class in Gurugram in the following year, with 2.5 times more purchasers searching for plots in 2021. Sectors 57 and 49 along Golf Course Extension Road, Sector 67 on Sohna Road, and Sectors 105, 102, and Palam Vihar along the Dwarka expressway would be significant areas to watch in the coming year, according to the report.
