Odisha to give lands to other states
The Odisha government has decided to provide land and other infrastructure to other state governments to build their own guest houses at the holy town of Puri. It is an attempt towards attracting domestic tourists to Odisha. The states will get plots on a 34-acre patch of land and other facilities under the 'Jagannath Project'. "Different state governments interested to set up guest houses will be provided with land under the Jagannath project. People coming to Puri from these states can stay there," CMD of Odisha Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (IDCO), Sanjay Singh, said.
