Notice sent to Salman Khan for illegal construction
Salman Khan and his family have been served a notice by Maharashtra Forest Department for illegal construction at his farmhouse in Panvel. It is being reported that his other family members have also been brought under the scanner for the same. According to a report, an individual who owns a property in Panvel complained to the Forest Dept, after which actor's father Salim Khan was served a notice on June 09, 2018. The notice stated that an offence was registered for violation of the Forest Act, for carrying out cement construction at Salman's Arpita farms. The property belongs to the actor along with his sister Alvira, Arpita, brother Arbaaz and Sohail and mother Helen Khan. It was registered on 21st November 2017. Maharashtra's Forest Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar stated that the process was being followed and the notice is sent to the concerned person after the department receives a complaint. If the necessary documents are provided, then no action will be taken.When Salim Khan was asked about the same, he said that the structures have been regularised and required fees have been paid, hence there is no illegal construction at the said place. It was done legally prior to the construction.
